Webfed letdown varnish
WEBVAR™ 1100 E is a 60% non-volatile highly structured letdown varnish based on structured phenol formaldehyde resins, alkyd resins and mineral distillates 240-290°C.
This varnish is generally used as a gel or letdown varnish in heatset offset inks, exhibiting excellent lithographic behaviour and a fast setting.
WEBVAR™ 1100 E offers an excellent transfer, printability and press stability on fast running presses.

WEBVAR™ 1100 E is available in drums (180 kg) or IBC’s (900 kg).
Shelf life from date of production is typically 12 months.
The varnish should be stored at temperatures ideally between 10 and 30°C. The packaging should be kept tightly closed and stored in dry conditions.
An increase in viscosity is possible if the varnish is stored in wrong conditions or for an extended period of time.
