TERLON™ 807 A

North America

Soybean-Based Alkyd Polyester

TERLON™ 807 A is a Lawter™ soya alkyd. The TERLON™ 800 linear polyester series is based on specially processed soybean oil. As a result, TERLON™ 800 series alkyds dry faster and form tough color stable films. TERLON™ 807 A can carry and print a larger load of pigment than bodied oils and conventional alkyds. TERLON™ 807 A shows equivalent color development to other drying oil modified linear polyesters and is recommended for use in heat drying applications.

TERLON™ 807 A dries by oxidation and forms a flexible film. While drying times are slower than pure linseed oil based alkyds, initial odor and color development during oxidation are markedly reduced. TERLON™ 807 A also offers a very effective price/quality ratio.
