Linseed-Based Alkyd Polyester
TERLON™ 1141 A is a Lawter™ linseed alkyd and is known for its excellent pigment wetting ability and fast hard-drying properties. TERLON™ 1141 A is an essential ingredient in many oil-based printing inks due to its ability to develop and maintain color strength with minimal bronzing and provide flow and leveling where required.
These characteristics make TERLON™ 1141 A a valuable formulating tool. TERLON™ 1141 A is also very compatible with most ink vehicles and serves to stabilize ink formulations whose properties may degrade during long runs. Metal decorating inks based on this alkyd bake very fast and form hard abrasion resistant, glossy surfaces.

TERLON™ 1141 A is shipped in 40 or 400 lb drums.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The product should be stored at temperatures between 10 and 30°C (50-86°F).
The packaging should be kept tightly closed and stored in dry conditions.
