Heatset Wax Compound
STIRINOL™ 92 is a multi-purpose, heatset compound formulated to exhibit suitable slip and rub in heatset inks used to print publication inserts, catalogs and tabloids. STIRINOL™ 92 is easily dispersed, does not diminish gloss and has exceptional re-crystallization resistance. It can also be supplied in liquid bulk and added directly to the ink while processing.
STIRINOL™ 92 should be used as a direct drop in for conventional 50% solids compounds. The recommended usage level is 3 to 6%.

STIRINOL™ 92 is shipped in 350 lb drums or in 1000 lb crates.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The product should be stored at temperatures ideally between 10 and 30°C (50-86°F).
The packaging should be kept tightly closed and stored in dry conditions.
An increase in viscosity or skinning is possible if the product is stored in wrong conditions or left exposed to air for an extended period of time.
