Phenolic Modified Rosin Ester
SETAPRINT™ 996 A is a low viscosity phenolic modified rosin ester with good solubility in both aliphatic and vegetable oils. SETAPRINT™ 996 A was developed to provide excellent pigment wetting properties. This resin is used primarily in grinding and flushing vehicles. SETAPRINT™ 996 A can also be used as a modifier for transfer and aliphatic compatibility in lithographic ink systems.

SETAPRINT™ 996 A is shipped in 1500 lb FIBC’s type D, or in 50 lb paper bags.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 4 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures under 30°C (86°F).
If the resin is stored improperly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloud point is possible.
