Phenolic modified rosin resin
SETAPRINT™ 7060 E is a very high molecular weight phenolic modified rosin resin with extremely low compatibility towards mineral distillates, and shows a limited compatibility towards vegetable oils.
This resin is specifically designed for use in mineral distillate free offset inks based on fatty acid ester solvents and similar systems.
Inks made with SETAPRINT™ 7060 exhibit a fast solvent release, high gloss and excellent rub resistance.
Rheological properties can be modified by controlled gelling using a suitable gelling agent.

SETAPRINT™ 7060 E is shipped in 500 or 1000 kg FIBC’s type C, or in 25 kg plastic bags.
Shelf life from date of production is typically 3 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C.
If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloudpoint is possible.
