Phenolic modified rosin ester
SETAPRINT™ 7050 C exhibits extremely low compatibility with mineral distillates and limited compatibility with vegetable oils. SETAPRINT™ 7050 C is a very high molecular weight rosin resin for the manufacture of mineral distillate free offset inks based on fatty acid ester solvents.
The rheological properties of SETAPRINT™ 7050 C can be modified by controlled gelling with suited gelling agents. Inks with SETAPRINT™ 7050 C possess a fast solvent release, a high gloss and good rub resistance. SETAPRINT™ 7050 C is suited for sheetfed and webfed offset inks.

SETAPRINT™ 7050 C is shipped in 500kg and 25 kg bags.
Shelf life and storage conditions
Shelf life from date of production is typically 6 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C.
If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloud point is possible.
