Phenolic modified rosin resin
SETAPRINT™ 2868 E is a low to medium soluble, medium viscous phenolic modified rosin resin suited for all kinds of offset inks.
Because of the lower polarity of this structured visco-elastic resin, inks based on SETAPRINT™ 2868 E have excellent lithographic properties as well as a high gloss and very fast setting.
Varnishes and inks based on SETAPRINT™ 2868 E display very good gelling properties.

SETAPRINT™ 2868 E is shipped in 500 or 1000 kg FIBC’s type C, or in 25 kg plastic bags.
Shelf life from date of production is typically 3 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C.
If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloudpoint is possible.
