A non crystallizing rosin acid of gum rosin
Description
The primary use of Pinerez 3090 E is to improve adhesion in water based flooring adhesives. The resin complies with RAL-UZ 113 and has low VOC’s suitable for EC1 adhesives.
Pinerez 3090 E can be hot blended with other resins and plasticizers before being dispersed in an adhesive polymer dispersion.
The resin is compatible with a range of polymers including VAE, acrylic and SBR and improves the tack and peel adhesion when formulated.
Pinerez 3090 E is resistant to crystallization and the high acid value can be readily saponified with alkali.

PINEREZ™ 3090 E can be available as pastilles in bags or as molten in heated tank wagon.
Shelf life of the product for pastilles is 9 months.
Due to the thermoplastic nature of the product, to prevent pastilles remassing and fusing together, it is recommended to store in a temperature controlled area <25ºC and avoid direct sunlight.
Do not stack pallets and prevent prolonged storage.
Remassing does not affect the specification of the product, and if it can be readily broken this is not a basis for rejection.
