Water-Fighting Additive
OPTILITH™ PLUS is a Lawter™ water fighter compound. OPTILITH™ PLUS is a 100% non-volatile, high solids paste. OPTILITH™ PLUS is concentrated to give maximum reduction in water pick-up at minimum usage levels in lithographic inks.
This compound is functional across a broad range of fountain solutions and can be added during formulation or as a press-side additive. Typical levels range between 0.5 to 1.5%.

OPTILITH™ PLUS is shipped in 350 lb drums.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The product should be stored at temperatures ideally between 10 and 30°C (50-86°F).
The packaging should be kept tightly closed and stored in dry conditions. An increase in viscosity or skinning is possible if the additive is stored in wrong conditions or left exposed to air for an extended period of time.
