Gloss over print varnish base
MIRAGLAZE™ 8934 BASE E is a 65% non-volatile low viscosity gelled base for over print varnishes based on rosin based resins, tung oil and lower aromatic mineral oil distillates 255-300°C.
This product contains wax but no driers.
This varnish is generally used as a base for over print varnishes over offset ink products. It can be applied wet-on-wet as well as wet-on-dry.
MIRAGLAZE™ 8934 BASE E exhibits excellent leveling, good tack stability and fast drying. The final film results in a very high gloss finish, low yellowing properties and a high rub resistance.

MIRAGLAZE™ 8934 BASE E is available in drums (175 kg).
Shelf life from date of production is typically 12 months.
The varnish should be stored at temperatures ideally between 10 and 30°C. The packaging should be kept tightly closed and stored in dry conditions.
An increase in viscosity is possible if the varnish is stored in wrong conditions or for an extended period of time.
