Gloss over print varnish base
MIRAGLAZE™ 1810 BASE E is a 75% non-volatile medium viscosity base for over print varnishes based on phenol formaldehyde free resins, tung oil and mineral oil distillates 260-290°C.
This product contains no wax or driers.
This varnish is generally used as a base for over print varnishes over offset ink products. It can be applied wet-on-wet as well as wet-on-dry.
MIRAGLAZE™ 1808 BASE E exhibits excellent leveling, good tack stability and fast drying. The final film results in a very high gloss finish, low yellowing properties and a high rub resistance.

MIRAGLAZE™ 1810 BASE E is available in drums (185 kg).
Shelf life from date of production is typically 12 months.
The varnish should be stored at temperatures ideally between 10 and 30°C. The packaging should be kept tightly closed and stored in dry conditions.
An increase in viscosity is possible if the varnish is stored in wrong conditions or for an extended period of time.
