Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
Description
HYDRO-REZ™5626 B is an alcohol soluble fumaric modified rosin ester with high melting point and high acid value. Has good dispersability in aqueous systems based on ammonia, amines and morpholine.
High melting point allows for rapid solvent release and good leveling properties.
HYDRO-REZ™5626 B is recommended for use in alcohol and water-based flexo inks. This resin is also recommended for use in mineral varnishes.
Application
Flexo inks, Inks on cardboard, Special inks, Varnishes with mineral solvents, Substitute for shellac, manila and acrylic resins.

HYDRO-REZ™5626 B can be available as flakes in 25kg bags and 500kg bags.
Shelf life and storage conditions
Shelf life from date of production is typically 12 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C. If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity is possible.
