Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
HYDRO-REZ™ 6500 E is an alcohol soluble, fumaric modified, rosin adduct recommended for use in solvent or water-based flexographic inks.
In addition, this resin is soluble in glycols and other alcohols and provides low viscosity.
The high melting point promotes a fast solvent release and good leveling properties.
HYDRO-REZ™ 6500 E can also be used in pigment striking as an additive.
The combination of high acid value, low molecular weight and rosin nature can enhance the pigment’s receptivity to wetting.
Recommended for use in steam set and moisture set systems.

Shelf life from date of production is typically 24 months.
The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C.
If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity is possible.
