Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
HYDRO-REZ™ 5539 E is a fumarated rosin ester that is soluble in alcohol or can be dispersed in water with ammonia,
amines or morpholine.
This product is compatible with shellac or manila resins, most acrylic dispersions and resins.
The high melting point promotes a fast solvent release and good leveling properties.
Recommended as binder in solvent or water based flexographic inks, or for use in spirit varnishes.

HYDRO-REZ™ 5539 E is shipped in 1000 kg FIBC’s type C, or in 25 kg paper bags.
Shelf life from date of production is typically 24 months.
The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C.
If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity is possible.
