Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
HYDRO-REZ™ 3886 A is an alcohol soluble fumaric rosin ester, which has excellent solubility in alcohols and good compatibility with nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose. HYDRO-REZ™ 3886 A is primarily used in flexographic inks to promote gloss, adhesion and to increase solids. This resin can also be used in SS nitrocellulose-based lacquers when the formulator wishes to use an alcohol based solvent system, i.e. lacquers intended for use on plastics such as styrene.

Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures
under 30°C (86°F).
If the resin is stored improperly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloud point is possible.
