Alcohol Soluble Polyamide Resin
FLEX-REZ™ 1255AS C is alcohol soluble polyamide resin that combines excellent alcohol solubility with nitrocellulose compatibility to produce flexographic inks having excellent gloss and runnability. It exhibits excellent tolerance for ester solvents. The high degree of compatibility along with high solubility makes FLEX-REZ™ 1255AS C an excellent polyamide for pigment wetting applications. Additionally, FLEX-REZ™ 1255AS C has outstanding gel resistance and can be used to improve gel characteristics when combined with traditional polyamide resins. FLEX-REZ™ 1255AS C has excellent adhesion on all difficult substrates.

Shelf life and storage conditions
Shelf life from date of production is typically 24 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures below 30°C.
If the resin is stored wrongly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and color is possible.
