Glycerol rosin ester
Description
FILTREZ™2303B is a glycerol ester of stabilized Elliottii gum rosin.
The light colored tackifier resin is modified to exhibit good stability against oxidation, heat aging and ultra violet light.
FILTREZ™2303B is designed for the thermoplastic pavement marking industry, and it allows for less liquid plasticizer in the finished application. Other possible applications include modifying nitrocellulose for lacquer in the coatings industry.

FILTREZ™2303B can be available as flakes in 25kg bags.
Shelf life and storage conditions
Shelf life of the product for flakes is 6 months.
Due to the thermoplastic nature of the product, to prevent flakes remassing and fusing together, it is recommended to store in a temperature controlled area <25°C and avoid direct sunlight.
Do not stack pallets and prevent prolonged storage.
Remassing does not affect the specification of the product, and if it can be readily broken this is not a basis for rejection.
