Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
FILTREZ™ 591 is an alcohol soluble, fumaric acid modified, rosin adduct with a high acid value and good solubility in glycol systems. FILTREZ™ 591 is designed especially for moisture set inks exhibiting fast setting and good press stability.
FILTREZ™ 591 can also be used in pigment striking as an additive. The high acid value, low molecular weight and rosin nature can enhance the pigment’s receptivity to wetting.

FILTREZ™ 591 is shipped in 50 lb paper bags.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures under 30°C (86°F).
If the resin is stored improperly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloud point is possible.
