Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
FILTREZ™ 531 is an alcohol soluble fumaric acid modified rosin ester with a high softening point and moderately high acid value. FILTREZ™ 531 can be used in solvent and water-based flexographic and in gravure inks. This resin can also be used as a leveling and gloss-promoting agent in floor polishes.

FILTREZ™ 531 is shipped in 2000 lb FIBC’s type D, or in 50 lb paper bags.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures under 30°C (86°F).
If the resin is stored improperly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloud point is possible.
