Fumaric Modified Rosin Ester
FILTREZ™ 5014 is a patented alcohol soluble fumaric modified rosin ester developed for flexographic and gravure printing inks. FILTREZ™ 5014 is designed primarily for wetting pigment in water-based inks and coatings. This resin enhances viscosity stability, and is fast drying, low bronzing, low foaming, as well as having good wet and dry rub resistance.

FILTREZ™ 5014 is shipped in 1000 or 2000 lb FIBC’s type D, or in 50 lb paper bags.
Shelf life from date of production is approximately 12 months. The resin should be stored at temperatures under 30°C (86°F).
If the resin is stored improperly or for a longer period of time, an increase in viscosity and cloud point is possible.
